Suzanne was born in South Bend, Indiana. She earned a BA in Ceramics from Purdue University in 1999 and an MFA in Ceramics from the University of Notre Dame In 2003.​Suzanne spent her early career teaching art in the South Bend public schools and college level ceramics at Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana.​ Suzanne currently lives in Plymouth, Indiana.  Suzanne and her oldest daughter, Eve Miller, work as studio artists in their home studio called 'Little Bird Studio.' Suzanne was selected to be an Indiana Artisan in the summer of 2024. (www.indianaartisan.org)
